Coiled Tubing Operators
Position Location: Broussard, LA

Alliance Energy Services coiled tubing division is seeking a coiled tubing operator to work on a full time basis in an offshore environment. The primary role of the coiled tubing operator is to help with rig-up/rig-down, operation and maintenance of coiled tubing equipment. Maintain and submit logs and time sheets in a timely fashion and follow required safety and operational procedures.


  • Promote and participate in all required safety, compliance and certifications programs
  • Perform equipment inspection and documentation of all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
  • Report all operational deficiencies to supervisor and maintenance personnel
  • Follow proper rig-up and rig-down procedures of coiled tubing unit, fluid pump and high-pressure iron
  • Operate coiled tubing and fluid pumping equipment in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitor well control parameters and perform calculations before and during job applications
  • Maintain all required logbooks and inspection reports


  • Able to be on call 24/7 when scheduled to work
  • Capable to work offshore
  • Able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Excellent communication, able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
  • Safely operate, maintain and perform repairs on equipment
  • Maintain effective working relationship with other employees


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of the oil and gas industry

Work Experience:

At least 2 yrs. experience as a coiled tubing operator

Previous experience operating coiled tubing in an offshore environment

  • Class A CDL a plus
  • Nitrogen pumping experience a plus
