Coiled Tubing Supervisors
Position Location: Broussard, LA

Alliance Energy Services coiled tubing division is seeking a coiled tubing supervisor to work on a full time basis in an offshore environment. The primary role of the coiled tubing supervisor is to manage coiled tubing operations in the field and ensure personnel safety and equipment functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and participate in all required safety, compliance and certifications programs
  • Perform equipment inspection and documentation of all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and personnel are assigned and ready for mobilization
  • Follow proper rig-up and rig-down procedures of coiled tubing unit, fluid pump and high-pressure iron
  • Ensure all documentation and inspections are completed prior to commencing operations
  • Operate coiled tubing and fluid pumping equipment in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitor well control parameters and perform calculations before and during job applications
  • Maintain all required logbooks and inspection reports
  • Assist in the evaluation and training of operators under his/her supervision and across the company

Requirements:

  • Able to be on call 24/7 when scheduled to work
  • Capable to work offshore
  • Able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Excellent communication, able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
  • Capable of operating all coiled tubing units, fluid pumps, nitrogen units, coiled tubing units as well as auxiliary equipment used in CT operations
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple activities under tight deadline schedules
  • Able to effectively build relationships with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to accept responsibility and accountability for employees under his/her supervision
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of operations and government regulations
  • Excellent supervisory skills, to include motivation, coaching, training, and delegation.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of the oil and gas industry

Work Experience:

At least 5 yrs. experience as a coiled tubing supervisor

Previous experience supervising coiled tubing operations in an offshore environment

  • Deepwater operational experience a plus
  • Class A CDL a plus
